Red Coral Earrings

I have a lot of earrings, and I love them all, but most of them are all metal. The few that I have with color seem to be the same kinds of dark colors. I was in the mood for some POP! on the old lobes, so I came up with these.

I started with a strand of red coral teardrops, all different sizes.

It was actually kind of difficult to find two that looked like they matched, but I came up with these two.

The silver beads were already in my stash and I'd been looking for a way to use them. Perfect for these! I just used 24 gauge wire to wrap the coral and threaded the silver bead onto the long end before making a simple loop. Slip it onto an ear wire, and viola!

  2. Very pretty! I love the pop of color. When I see tear drop beads I never know what to do them, but this gives me a great visual! Thanks for sharing!
